I need to change the tranny/rear end fluid in my TU 180F Landhope. I have tried to find a solid answer but have not been able to. Do I use hydraulic oil or gear oil?

Since no one is jumping in, I'll give it a stab.....I really can't give you a definitive answer but I find it hard to believe you could go wrong with universal trans/hydraulic fluid. Like you machine sounds to be set up, most tractors share the trans, hydraulic reservoir and rear end lubrication. A good quality UTF will satisfy most manufacturers standards and I feel comfortable in saying it is the correct choice.

Ditto :thumbsup: . I,m not familiar with the 180F , but have had several other Iseki models & they all used the universal trans/hydraulic fluid .

FYI , When you get ready to drain it be prepared with lots of drain buckets, some models hold 15 gallons or so ;) . I dont know if you have an atwoods farm supply store in your area , but I beleive they have a sale on UTF in 5 gallon buckets for $22.50 this week ;) .

Thank you Kernopelli, and cowboy357 for your input. I believed that I needed to use universal hydraulic fluid myself. But at times I like to check with others to see what they have to say so I don't end up breaking something! I enjoy learning and with not many people owning Iseki's and not a whole lot of information on them I just wanted to make sure. Thanks again for your time.:thumbsup:
