Hi everyone.
Trying to find details on say the top 5 or 10 Chinese tractor manufacturers
Looking for percentage of tractors per manufacturer against total Chinese output or something similar.
Tried looking on the internet but have not been able to get any accurate answers.
Can anyone post a link where I can find this data please

Well theyre not really competing brands but more like plants.
Search for Chinese importers. We see Foton, Nortrac, Farm King, Agri King and several other names. Buy a load and you name them any way you want. I have 2 Fotons sold as Tractor King from Rural King.

Probably looking in all the wrong places. Sounds to me like you are after marketing statistics. You should try stock brokerage houses and marketing firms. Doubt you will find any of that kind of info in a tractor repair website/forum. Why would you need that info to purchase a tractor anyway? Just curious.

Chinese tractor manufacturing has undergone as many or more changes as the US tractor industry did in the 1980s. For example teh Shandong tractor plant at one time was the (or one of the) biggest in China, they have reorganized and sold at least twice. New players like Foton/Lovel, Changfa/appollo have built big plants and taken over numbers. US and Indian companies have purchased plants in some cases, the original chinese product restarted production in new plants. jThere are dozens of small manufactures who build tractors. It is the industrial revolution all over rin China. I cant think of a source for the data, I'm sure the Chinese govt has it but not likely to share... As for those in USA, as has been said, many brands assigned to the tractor by the importer, again hard to track, even through customs as some will use their brand name and others teh manufacturers brand name on import docs.

I have been doing some forum-searching and I don't see anything about the "new" Nortrac tractors. I noticed that they have "XT" versions out. Are these Foton's? In their photos and promotional videos, they look very clean and similar to their Korean competition.

FYI the "free shipping" is generously padded into the catalog price. Depending where you live relative to a Northern brick & mortar location, you can save money by hauling one home yourself from the store (especially if you're ag-exempt).

Interesting- so the b&m price could be substantially less at the store? I didn't even know they had stores...

I wonder if this is par with the Agtrac/Artac line.

All the new Nortracs are Fotons from the 20hp to the 82 hp,the older smaller units were Jinma they just made this change this year. We sell Foton also just in the 40hp and up,
