Have you tried contacting King Kutter??

I think Ken is being a little sarcastic, implying that KK is assembled in the US but with imported gear boxes. At least that is what I took from that..

You know what, I think you're correct since I re-read his statement. I don't know why he would make a stupid move like that towards me- especially since I was planning on buying a used plow from him in the near future. I really was just trying to help.

I use a Land Pride reverse rotation which I really like, but there are a lot of good, lower cost units including those mentioned.

There may or may not be a difference in quality with the higher end units, but most of us will never use one enough to really know.

I would purchase a REVERSE style tiller. The tractor you are using does not have low enough gears to do hard ground. The tractor will be pushed by the rototiller.

How much ground speed? Or I guess better is how less a ground speed are we talking about? Is there different slow 1st gear speeds?

No really, I am serious. I can't find anyone who will say anything other than the "country of Origin" is the USA. I have some products that I sell that stonewall the same way. I guess, If a Corvette is assembled in Bowling Green, Ky out of parts from all over the world, then is is made in the USA. Ken Sweet

I have a Bush Hog model 285 rotary cutter that I bought new alittle over a year ago. As we all know, the "Bush Hog name" is supposed to be as American as it can get. Well come to find out, (after I made the purchase), the gearbox on mine says MADE IN CHINA! The cutter hasn't gave me a problem, but I'm not at all happy about it. Kinda made me lose some respect for Bush Hog.

I know a local fellow that bought a new 7 ft MX series John Deere Brush Hog this year for $3500. Guess where the gearbox was made? If you said China, you are right. Ken Sweet

I haven't checked, but I would almost be the gearbox on my Land Pride was also made in China and possibly the gear box on my rotary cutter too; seems to be the trend now; don't know about my Woods.
