I think Ken is being a little sarcastic, implying that KK is assembled in the US but with imported gear boxes. At least that is what I took from that..

You know what, I think you're correct since I re-read his statement. I don't know why he would make a stupid move like that towards me- especially since I was planning on buying a used plow from him in the near future. I really was just trying to help.

I have a Bush Hog model 285 rotary cutter that I bought new alittle over a year ago. As we all know, the "Bush Hog name" is supposed to be as American as it can get. Well come to find out, (after I made the purchase), the gearbox on mine says MADE IN CHINA! The cutter hasn't gave me a problem, but I'm not at all happy about it. Kinda made me lose some respect for Bush Hog.
