Trailer for L5740 or M5040

The problem with a lot of lowboys is the spacing between the fenders. My older car hauler trailer only had about 2" total spacing with the M4700. I doubt my M5040 would even fit in there since we are in hill country and I have the wheels set for maximum width.

Car haulers come in 2 standard widths. 76" and 82". The 82" is the only way to go. I have used the 76" and its a tight fit but doable.

I have the wide one. As I said, only a couple of inches clearance with the M4700.

Towed with a bumper pull before my current trailer and this gooseneck tows much nicer. The longer deck allows you to position the load perfectly.
