Came home last night to find a new 2320 with a 54" snowblower and 200cx loader, as well as 12" of fresh snow. It's taken a little shuffling around of tractors and implements, but I'm convinced that I've finally got it right. After just one pass of the blower... I'm a believer!

I never was able to connect what people were saying when they advised that a forward facing blower was the best. Between the extreme cost of a blower and the fun that I have with removing snow, I figured a blade set-up was good enough for me. But, I leave very early in the morning for work, before the plow guy shows up to do our road. We've had a couple of good dumpings in a row, including last spring - so, I spent a lot of time fighting my walk-behind to clear out my driveway since I bought my B2929 with just a loader last January. When I was done, it was cleared, but my torn rotator cuff and neck were aching pretty good. While my B2929 sat under the lean-to. I just could never get the loader on that tractor to float at an angle that wouldn't chew up the gravel driveway terribly - I don't remember having such trouble with my other JD tractor.

At any rate, I'm thrilled to be back - and when I have some more time, I plan to detail the differences between my Kubota and Deere that lead me to buy this tractor. In the mean time, here's pic - I gotta get back to work!

Very nice looking rig...

On side-note, I like seeing screen names that are tied to a color, but not the current color of the tractor :)

Willl - it's funny, ever since I was a kid, I'd cross my fingers and stuff would just happen. Take for instance when I lost a tooth. I'd put it under my pillow and in the morning, there'd be a quarter! Or write a note toward mid-December? And then soon, I'd awaken to presents by the fireplace!! Here's what I'd suggest you do to come home to brand new equipment, just like me: you know that 9-digit number the government gave you? Write it on a piece of paper and sign your name. Voila! A tractor! Problem is, they come knocking within 30 days demanding money!!

The hydro fluid seems to have dripped out when they left the loader in place, then put installed the blower. I wasn't there to take delivery. I'm assuming something must have caught the relief ball and let it drip out.

I will never under stand why people want to blow snow in reverse:confused:

Call me crazy, but wouldn't it have been simpler to buy a front blower for the 2920 ? Perhaps having the right equipment to begin with would have solved your discontent with the Kubota? Shirley you aren't going to claim a tractor with 6 less HP makes for a better snowblower.

Very nice tractor regardless.......... congratulations.

Looking at your signature line, I see you have a Frontier snowblower on your 770. Is that a front or rear mount unit? I wouldn't mind putting a snowblower on my 770, too, but I really want it on the front if I do it.

Nice looking setup, BX
