Price Check Opinions Please: Fair Price? JD 5045E

Greetings Everyone,
Long time reader first time poster-I am thinking seriously of taking advantage of the current JD 0% financing promo to purchase a new 5045E. Here is a quotation I have received from my local dealer:

JDeere 5045E
R1 tires with water/anti-freeze in all four tires
553 FEL with 73" bucket & 2 hooks
hood guard
canopy
Quote for above is: $26,455.00 delivered

Accessories quoted:
Land pride 6' medium duty bush hog with slip clutch and front chains: $2100.00
Toothbar attachment for FEL: $475.00

Are these prices fair/competitive?

Have you gone to the "Build Your Own" calculator at the JD website.??

That price looks high to me but, don't come to any conclusions on my one reply.

I like that size Deere...a real utility tractor. :thumbsup:

Yes I have tried the build your own site but the site is not user friendly as I have not been able to get option items to show with base pricing in order to compare to actual quoted price. I will try again.

I had the same experience....I couldn't find the price for the loader.??

Exactly! I can not locate it either--I have everything else to compare. I have heard that the FEL is approx. $5k but I would like to see the exact amount on the configuator.

Got it! Thanks 3Bladz. Comparing the two prices my dealer price is a little more than 8% under list price. So not the best discount one could get but from what I have read it is in the ball park.

Have figured in the cost of loading the tires? I am not sure if I would want the fronts loaded.

That sounds pretty good. I priced a 5045E recently with just R1's and a loader - it was $26k out the door. This didn't include the filled tires. I'd go for the HD bucket too if you have the option. We recently acquired a 4005 and wished we had the heavier bucket now for what we use it for
