I think you are comparing two different size machines. Even though they have similar horsepower, the Cub is 50% heavier... it's a bigger tractor. That means it would pull more and lift more on the positive; on the negative, it would leave deeper tracks in the grass, not be as nimble in close quarters, maybe drink more fuel doing the same jobs. You would have to decide whether small or large is best for your situation.
Kubota is the leading company selling this size of equipment, and probably carries a premium price because of it, so you might get more tractor for your dollar with Cub Cadet, but it would depend on what kind of deals you can make. Don't know much about the particular Cub model you're considering except it has a Yanmar engine - very good, by the way - and the EX3200 owners who have posted here on TBN seem pretty happy with their equipment. If you were to compare the equivalent Kubota model (the L series), you'd also find many happy owners, probably more because they sell more. I think the Kubota also might hold its value somewhat better than the Cub.
If you compare equivalent models and the money is acceptable, either brand makes good equipment, so you should otherwise pick the one you like best. Also consider the dealer situation... find one who is honest, knowledgeable, has good service resources and will give you a fair bargain.
