Outlaw Jose Wales first and then Pale Rider are my favorites.
Did anyone answer the question about dying in his part? I think the first one was the movie with he as a C&W singer on the way to Nasville to record a record, could have been Pink Cadillac. He had TB I think but I do beleive he died in that one. The last one no doubt was Grand Torino.
To really pick out the best Eastwood movie I'm a Unforgiven fan. Beyond that, you'd have to go by category, and there's alot there too but for drama,
Million Dollar Baby was simply outstanding. Comedy:Kelly's Heroes, War:Where Eagles Dare with Richard Burton, Suspense:the movie about Eastwood as a pilot stealing a state of the art Russian fighterplane, can't think of other categories right now.
Favorite out of so many:
Sheriff--You're William Mooney that killed women and children
Eastwood- Y, I'm William Mooney that killed women and children, and just about everything else that's walked or crawled. Now, I'm going to kill you.
Memorable Unforgiven quotes:
Well, sir, you are a cowardly son of a *****! You just shot an unarmed man!

Well, he should have armed himself if he's going to decorate his saloon with my friend.
And there's this one too..
I don't deserve this... to die like this. I was building a house.

Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.
