Nice looking tractor, you are going to love it I am sure. Only one thing you may want to think about. When you weight your tires you can't use a puncture proof product in them. I watched fluid coming out of my brothers rear tires twice this last summer within 3 days. $160 bucks per flat was his bill. We were mowing on a cattle ranch and encountering thorn trees (which is normal in this area). I had puncture proof in my rear tires and had no flats. I would recommend either wheel weights or an impliment for rear balast. Just a old hillbillies thoughts.
Good luck and happy tractoring.

that is a great looking tractor. I noticed your in N TX. What dealer did you purchase your tractor from? How was the experience?

I have not visited a dealer yet, just hanging out on this forum getting educated first.

I purchased the tractor from Landmark Equipment in McKinney. They weren't the cheapest, but I wanted a dealer that could trust and one that would be around five years from now. So far I've been very happy with them.

Good thought. We have lots of locust and mesquite trees around here, so I think I would be better served using weights. I imagine it's gonna cost a few bucks to slime the tires, but then again, it beats a flat in the pasture.

A buddy of mine told me he foamed(?) his tires. Has all kinds of thorns sticking out of the tires but never has to worry about flats. Think he said it cost somewhere around $500 to fill all 4 tires, but to me that is certainly worth the peace of mind...

Your 4530 was a great choice. Congratulations. As for a drink holder, check with the Bass Pro Shop website. They have a cupholder that is gimbled and has a hole (opening) at the top. You should have a dash bolt that can be removed and the cup holder attached.

MrEnigma, Congrats on your new tractor. I can't believe no one has commented on your avatar. That is one fine looking animal. I assume that's a cockhound?

Cabela's has a pretty nice NO SPILL cup holder;

I'm swaying back and forth on the Mahindra 4530 and Kubota L4240. Keep us posted on how this tractor works out for you. Just a bit suprised that with the weight of this beast you had those initial balance issues. But I guess for what you had in the fel it can happen.
