I've owned a couple of B's but not a B with a BH. Just the current BX25 with a BH. The BH on the BX25 digs good with the size bucket on the BH. It won't pull out deep rooted roots and stumps easily. It digs a trench with precision but I'm not sure I'd be doing footers for a living with a BX. Just for myself and home acreage the BX is fine. Creating drive ways is to broad for me. How long and what type soil and any hurry. Long drive on hard ground, I'd hire a bull dozer to come and do a few passes then I'd finish with my BX or more maintain with my BX. The BX is a small powerful tractor with a small powerful BH but smaller is more time consuming but BX's can do most jobs, in time. Biggest difference for me in BX and B is B has higher ground clearance if that's important and a bit bigger oomph in lift and a bit bigger bucket. I've found that specialized equipment (dozer, track loader, ditching machine) can do a better job in a fraction of the time over a do all machine (tractor). Some jobs I do because I want to do them and some times I'm not sure what I want until I get started doing it myself my way. Other jobs I know what I want and cost vs time constraints and wearing out my machine has me calling in Roy Vice with his track loader. Hope this helps.
Thanks, that does help. I'm planning on building some storage buildings and a 3 acre long driveway..
