A few years back I was an E&I Supervisor at a paper mill where AC and DC drives was the norm. There were great for process control applications. They were a lot of fun engineering, troubleshooting and repairing. It's certainly a great way to generate 3 phase power for low HP ratings. I do think that DC power may have a huge come back if our grid goes down which is looking quite possible.

We punched the 33 holes and installed the box.

Man that's pretty seeing that army of conduit terminate into that box.

Yes, they look nice. Thanks it was a bit of a trick to get them aligned to their holes. This group of conduits were all slightly bent because they stored in bend. I should have used them under the slab but they were all I had at the time. We basically wedged a board between the rows and did one row at a time one conduit at a time from side to side. Before this method was attempted it was pure chaos.

We got the circuit breaker panel in place and connected it to the junction box. We have a few more things to do like, install some power receptacles, light switches, drywall and a door to complete this section. It will be nice to install the two doors that isolate the garage because our wood stove should be able to heat the home better.

Just a few more things to do...right. I've always found that outlets etc. took a lot longer than expected.

I worked with an assembler some years ago who would watch me measuring wire and then he'd say "Remember one thing Stevie, wire's cheap, you ain't". Leave extra on your wire runs, put a loop in the box before adding the outlet/switch so you have room to modify later...

Absolutely leave extra wire. A service loop is good but not too much as to create difficulty getting the required devices in the gang box. At the other end you can store more length if it is in a larger capacity box like my junction box or the circuit breaker panel.
