Welcome King Kutter Rep,

I don't if this has been asked yet, but I own a KKII tiller that I purchased from TSC. I see that TSC now sells a tiller that looks like a King Kutter, but has a different name on it. Is this made by your company, or someone else that make a close copy of a KKII tiller?

I've got a new JD 2305, which per the manual has an 18hp PTO and 681 lbs lift at 24" off the 3-point hitch. I'd like to go with the TG-48, but it's 'recommended' for 20+hp PTO.. any experience using this at 18hp?

I was also looking at your XB tiller, but it doesn't seem to be offset so I'd be running over my tillin.. and I can't find but one review on it. Is this a new product?

I'm pretty sure the 2305 is what I would refer to as a sub-compact tractor, which is exactly the type of tractor we designed the TG-48-XB Gear Drive Rotary Tiller to go on.

The TG-48 is only offset, in that it is supposed to cover at least one wheel track on those larger compact tractors. However your sub-compact doesn't need that. The TG-48-XB is ideal for you.

Also, is there a difference in the TG-48-XB-0 model? I found that at one online store with a somewhat lower price then the others (not sure what shipping was). Probably is, just want to make sure it's the same thing as the TG-48-XB.

Also going to call around to some possible KK dealers around my area (45177) to see if I can find one locally.. the ones mentioned on you website are a little far..

The "O" at the end of the model number is the letter "O" not the number zero. It just means that it is painted Orange.

Those are the specs. One thing you need to do is to check the price. For the money, in my opinion, the King Kutter is a much better value. Also on the Woods, the number of tines per flange is optional between 4 or 6. The King Kutter comes standard with 6 tines. 6 tines, in my opinion, are better than 4. So, no matter what you buy, try and make sure it has 6 tines per flange. Also a gear drive and PTO with slip clutch are ideal.

The gear drive over the chain and slip clutch I've learned are a must have. I got a qoute of 3400.00 for the Woods and around 1700.00 for the KKII. Thats half, how can that be or was somebody putting the screws to me on the Woods.

FYI I edited the weight of the King Kutter. I had the wrong weight. So they weigh basically the same.

I can't speculate on price. Sorry. I will say that there is a reason why we sell so many more tillers than anyone else in the United States. VALUE. It's not just that ours cost less. It's because they are such a good value.

If you look at the specs, IMO, the King Kutter is hard to beat.
