I don't understand why the KK rep is catching it from folks. I for one am interested in what he has to say.
He is catching it from me, because he led others to believe I was wrong with the info I was giving, when in fact I wasn't wrong.

While some of the info he is giving is correct, some is incorrect.

And he is advertising a product on here(that he says he represents), without being a paid advertiser(as others are), and some are probably a little upset over that.

Hope that explains things :)

This line is totally confusing.

You told a guy in the other thread that it could be set to run centered, or offset, which I knew wasn't true. But I didn't dispute it there.

Please link it for me and I'll correct it if I said that. That's wasn't my intent. The TG-48 is just offset. You can not change it.

Explanation accepted. I suppose some could be upset. I guess if the ones that operate the board are upset they will shut him down. Seems its a fine line between selling a product and answering questions about a product that lots on this board already own. I wish there were more reps on here, say from the big tractor manufacturers.

The TC-48-XB is a previous model. The current model is the TG-48-XB. Both are centered and generally cover the tracks of what the industry refers to as a sub-compact tractor such as a BX Kubota or GC Massey Ferguson.

Probably doesn't matter now if you change it or not, it appears that you sold at least 1 person on the tiller, and I believe it was based(at least in part), on wrong info that you gave.

That thread you linked is a true statement. The TG-48-XB is a different tiller than the TG-48. The "XB" at the end of the model number denotes a different tiller entirely. It is for sub-compacts like the GC series of MF compacts. The TG-48 is a "48 tiller that fits tractors with the standard cat. I 3-pt tractors. The TG-48 is permanently offset. The TG-48-XB is for sub-compacts with limited Cat. I hitches, and is centered behind the tractor.*

You might not get the apology you deserve, but at least I can express my gratitude for sticking around after wrongly being called to task.

A clear example of the difference between being certain and being correct.

I just looked up some pictures, I stand corrected on that model. It is centered.

I must have been shown the older model, when I was looking at them a few months ago.

Sometimes people speak out of turn, right Robb71?

Correct, I've been guilty of that myself.
There's nothing necessarily wrong with being wrong, but there is a right way and a wrong way to be wrong. If you get my drift.

Thanks for your contribution to the place in your off time.
