How's everyone doing with the SNOW

Oh go ahead and get the snow blower, that will ensure that you never again get more than an inch of snow and make everyone else happy:laughing:

You guys on the east coast are really getting plastered. I think our biggest snow here was about 4". We got another inch last night but it was supposed to include freezing rain :( I haven't been out yet.

That's the big problem here, when we get sleet and freezing rain and then it gets cold. It can get scary on a steep driveway with a big drop off. Last year I had the M5040 sliding backwards down the driveway :confused2: In years past I had a plow truck slide down the drive and over the edge. Had to wait a month to get a tow truck in to retrieve it.

Snow??

Sorry, it's supposed to be 70F here in SE Texas today. Now, if you could find a way to package that snow and send it down here in July and August when our temps are around 100F with 70% humidity; that would be nice.

Here it's nothing like you folks out to the N.E. But last year (eastern Kansas) we got 40 inches and so far this season 20 inches. Doing the neighbors gravel driveways with the FEL and BB has gotten me a week's worth of stew, an apple pie, some cookies, $40 and lots of good will. I'm doing better retired than when working.

The snow in south jersey is not nearly as bad as what everybody north of here got but is is enough to have fun with. I just recently purchased a bx 23 to replace my older 12.5hp B series. I will say I have not had anything but a good time since the conversion. Sorry for the photo with my wife on the machine it was in the garage and the rops are down but I will say she never drove faster then about .1 mph and once I took the picture and looked at it I realized it. Just getting use to having to put them up and down to get in the garage. Another storm next week YEA

Send some my way! I live in central new york, and everyone around us has been punded, but we seem to miss it all this year.
I'm also a fan of my bucket. I have a plow on my truck, and would prefer to use my tractor. I have a 3 point blower that is 15 years old and looks brand new because I never use it.

Started out January with the front plow on and a rear blade on the 3PH. Well it didn't take long to realize that wasn't going to cut the mustard so on when the FEL. I think we're between 5' and 6' of snow this month and they're already predicting a possible Nor'easter for mid next week. If that comes to fruition, I'll have no room to put it. My piles are at about max for the BX's reach. I can get the loader up higher, but it just falls on the front slope of the pile and rolls back in the road. I'd think about a rear blower, but this looks to be a once in a decade type winter (at least that's what I'm betting).

Our snow lasted two days. Supposed to be 64 tomorrow. Guess I'll start the Bota and ride around.Jy
