I have dk50 hst with a erskine 72, 72". Depending on the snow its about all it can handle. I wouldn't look bigger than 6'. I bought one because winters can be tough in North Idaho or so I was told. Been here two years and have only used blower maybe 4-5 times. One problem I have with front mounted rear pto driven unit is low ground clearance. It only sits above ground a foot or so, this can be a problem when enter/exiting drive to road because of incline. Wish they would have had a mid pto unit. Just my two cents.
hmmm. i was looking at the rear hydraulic power pack unit instead of the direct drive unit. i dont know how much snowblower i can handle. i keep getting different information. where in north idaho you located. north of coeur d'alene myself. we had a light year this year....but remember 2 and 3 years ago...36" of snow in a day. i want to be prepaired. i also worried about ground clearance, thats why i was thinking about the front loader mount units
, , , been interested in a loader mounted snowblower for some time:thumbsup:
