99 dodge ram 3500 td info?

anyone got any info on a 99 dodge ram turbo diesel 3500?

one just popped up for sale locally.. regular cab, etc.. interior ok except for a tear int he seat that a seat cover will hide.

While I love my fords.. I do like my dodge ram 1500.. like the layout, etc.

unit is an auto, has gn adapter.. etc.

stuff like tow capacity, engine specs.. anything to watch out for.. etc.. etc..

Really tough trucks. The transmissions seem to go on them at 100,000 miles due to a weak torque converter. But that can be overcome with a beefed up converter and some higher quality clutches. Oh and a good trans builder. Our 01 has 325,000 on it now. Trans built right at 100. I have seen 4 others go at the same mileage.
The other know to go bad is the evaporater. Seen a pile of them leak. Not too bad to do. But the dash does have to come out.
If you can deal with that they are very impressive trucks. I would not hesitate a bit. That cummins may be loud at times but it will outlast the truck.
