Yes that's close to what I have mine is home made but its a close copy of that mine is oil field related it will do the job but like I said its a work out and it needs to be on concrete or real hard dirt to work I never use it.
If transporting a full barrel in a pickup and laying it down in order to use this or a horizontal lifter is a waste of time imo and dangerous. Wrap a chain around and go works so much better plus its half way over center anyway one person can lay down or stand up a full barrel. ymmv
I suppose any decent loader operator after laying a barrel down could simply hook his chain on the upper lip of the barrel and back up would stand it up again its not a perfect scenario but workable.
