My 5530C started jumping out of reverse. Not all the time maybe 50% of the time. No noise, grinding or wrong feelings ... just doing it.

My local dealer states he is not equiped to handle it so I contacted the next closest ... 70 miles away. They will pick it up next Wednesday and stated they will get right to it.

Will keep you all informed ...

Well the ice and snow has delayed pick up ... maybe first part of the week.

Not sure how your machine is set up - ours is a shuttle shift. Same problem - kept popping out of gear. Pulled the plastic off around the steering wheel shaft and found the screws holding the shuttle shift lever to the steering shaft all loose. Tightened them up and the tractor started going into gear again and staying there.

Good advice ... when I pulled the plastic I didn't see anything loose. It was picked up Tuesday and I am waiting to hear from the dealer.

The u-joint in the linkage is bad ... normal wear item so no warranty. The clutch had to adjusted ... I was told it was never properly engaging with proper free travel, that proper initial setup should have been done by the selling dealer. Branson says "normal wear and tear item" and not a warranty item.

I am the second owner and had the warranty transfered. I have an email in to them expressing my concern ... I feel if it has NEVER properly engaged with the proper free travel from day one then it should be a warranty fix. What do you think.

Had about 260 hrs when I got it ... now has about 490

I'd be really amazed if they even answer your email, let alone adress your concerns, there is no "support after the sale" has been my experience.

I did get an answer ... My experience with Branson has been more than exceptional. When I bought this tractor I emailed them, they diligently worked to get the warranty transfered over to me. Every email that I have sent them has been answered....Cody at Branson has called me and we have talked about little quirks ... Power Beyond questions, we have takled about the shuttle shift, he walked me thru things that I may be able to look at and perhaps fix ... The email I recieved this morning, he states he will meet with the management team this coming Tuesday and I will have an answer.

Sounds like they are at least entertaining the idea of helping you out. Hope it comes out in your favor. Even if they just supply the parts you're probably doing ok, but I hope they cover all of it. Glad to hear that you've got good responses from them before.

What did they do to the clutch? Freeplay travel adjustment takes 2 wrenches and all of 5 minutes, including fetching the wrenches and putting them away.
