Selling B7510 Tractor

I have a 2006 4X4 B7510 Kubota that I am putting up for sale. It is 21 engine HP and 17 PTO HP. It has 176 hours and is a gear transmission 6 forward and 2 reverse gears. I am going to ask $10,500. Does that sound like a price that will get the tractor sold in a reasonable amount of time?

Well if you want my opinion, and I think that is what you are asking.. then you are about 1000 too much for a Gear tractor with the La272. But that said, tractor prices do vary by region a lot. so that might make a difference.. also as you know when you sell to an individual, something is worth what it will bring

Nice tractor, first of all. Nice indeed. Very low hours and it should garner a whole lot of interest. The B is very popular and the FEL is a big plus.

The gear will not be popular, but it shouldn't kill the deal for a guy who either isn't up to speed on HSTs or might even prefer the gear.

Got to be very careful on the pricing as you cannot compete with new and new financing. That said, you'll see it. Just prepared to listen to your buyers as they will tell you if you priced it too high. Of course, everyone of them wants to bargain you down anyhow.

I have essentially the same tractor as you- except I have just over 400 hours. I would think that it would go around that price for a cash sale but I agree that with available financing and such if someone is able to- they would go that way.

I was quoted trade in last year of about 9500. Realizing of course that there was some wiggle room in the new quote, but- the dealership still would try to recoup on selling it.

However, same dealership has same year B7610, NO loader, has top-n-tilt. They have had it on their lot for 2+years listed at 9950 and won't budge on the price. Incidentally, I offered to buy the tnt and hydraulics off of it- the sales guy declined saying "they were gonna get their money on the whole tractor"...... yeah right- as it still sits there.

I would also cross reference tractor house magazine. They would likely have similar models to give you an idea.

I traded in my 2005 Kubota B7510 HST/LA302 FEL, 170 hours two years ago and got $7700, which was the average trade-in per the Tractor Blue Book. You should be able to do better than this in a private sale, but gear trannies are not as desirable as hydrostatics. $10.5K asking price is high, but you may find someone who'll pay it. My guess is that you'll find a deal at $9K.

Thanks for the responses. It sounds like you guys think I'm a little high. So noted. Since it will be at least a couple of months until prime selling time, I'm probably not going to get much activity or offers for awhile anyway. I'll just wait and let the potential buyers guide me to a final selling price. Supply and demand always sets the price anyway.

my rig::'07 B7610, LA352 FEL (about 240 hours), Bush Hog SBX 48 box blade, '07 Hudson HSE Deluxe trailer - 5 Ton 18', and a whole bunch of chains and at least 4 ratchet binders was got for $11.5K in 2009.

And it's a dang good trailer.
