I have been offered a 1510 with a bad head gasket, how difficult is it to get parts for these tractors? How are the prices?

They are great tractors at much less the price , parts OR information about them are sometimes hard to find , but not impoible . You need to read past threads & it will give you some ideas but bottom line is if they dont break you dont need parts

Filters & such shouldn't be a problem for most models either as I'm reasonablly sure the headgasket wouldn't be either .

Very few ever come back to say wether their problem is fixed or not , let alone post who supplyed the parts or at what cost , so it aint the tractors that are bad , just some of the owners are a little lazy sharing info after those of us have tryed to help them , Just my opinion though .

You might post a pic & if anyone else has a similiar model they might be of some help . Heres a few links that might get you started they seem to carry some parts at least , the problem are there are so darn many Iseki models and its hard to tell what fits what , because everyone is so secretive . Between these following places, and this forum, I have found everything I have ever needed for my Bolens Iseki tractor. Rays mower shop, Boyertown PA (610) 367-2078 try them first and they ship parts. Swiegard Bros. Farm Equipment (this place actually has a Bolens sign on their building yet) in Halifax PA (sorry dont have there number but you can probably find them on the internet) and of course I have found numerous parts on Ebay, search Iseki or Bolens Iseki. I have heard the same as you that these tractors are hard to find parts for, but if you seek you will find them. And like the guy that sold me my tractor told me, "If you can fix things well yourself, then this Bolens Iseki tractor may be the one for you, if not, then you may want to go with a Kubota or Mahindra, something more common, as you probably wont find a "servicing" Bolens Iseki dealer around anymore." These are tough machines, im glad I bought mine.
