Elections have consequences.
I would like to see the story behind this?Say there Utah, klausb, how's that CNG working out as far as safety is concerned? Not long ago, here, a guy parked his CNG truck in his garage, whereupon it sprung a leak,...ignited and blew his whole house up and him too.
But like many here on TBN, I wish we had more choice on diesel engines in our cars and at least our trucks. But not those big expensive 8 cyl diesels , I think a decent large four or small 6 cylinder diesel engine, in a reasonable priced pickup truck would get us 30 to 40 mpg and that would help our pocket books and our planet. Europe has all sorts of choice on engines but North America does not, because of ignorance in the marketplace about diesel engines.
!
What about anyone who draws a monthly pension check, 2.5% to 3.5% less because of a federal tax increase!! Has anyone else noticed??

Good Afternoon Jack,
Absolutely agree on the 4 and 6 cylinder diesels that europe have ! When my wife and I were in Ireland a few years back on vacation, we rented a diesel van that had to be getting 50 + per gallon. That thing was unbelievable on fuel, heck I thought the gage was broken the first couple of days...![]()
Unfortunately, YES. My Federal taxes have more than doubled on my military pension. This is after they doubled last year.
And to add insult to injury, no cost of living raise in 2 years.....but the cost of gas and food are sure rising.......
thank you Washington!

Data collected over time has demonstrated natural gas vehicles to be safe in actual operation. Based
on a survey of 8,331 natural gas utility, school, municipal and business fleet vehicles (NGVs) that
traveled
178.3 million miles:
• The NGV fleet vehicle injury rate was 37% lower than the gasoline fleet vehicle rate.
• There were no fatalities compared with 1.28 deaths per 100 million miles for gasoline fleet
vehicles The collision rate for NGV fleet vehicles was 31% lower than the rate for gasoline fleet vehicles
• The fleet of 8,331 NGVs was involved in seven fire incidents, only one of which was directly
attributable to failure of the natural gas fuel system.
Gee you guys should see the prices of fuel here in N.Y....
