Video for anyone debating a G1800/1900 purchase

Just thought I would post this for anyone who is debating a Kubota G1800/1900 purchase for all season use. 42" Snow blower and cold start diesel. Bought mine years ago with 512 hours on it and up to 580. Love it. Enjoy.

FYI,

My machine smooths out much faster when I turn the glow plugs on imediately after I spin the motor to start.

I run the plugs for about 40 seconds, then spin the motor, once she catches I turn the glow plugs back on.

Smooths out in a second or two.

Don't know, but I think the old pick up and dump to the side technique with a loader on a BX might be faster. But that's me. Nice video though.

You cannot compare a 2wd G1800/1900 to a 4wd BX. That is like saying my L3540 handles snow better than your BX24.

I have two G1800AWS's that I use for mowing and they are a great tractor.

Well, I'll bet my L3700SU will match your L3540 in any snow moving competition.

Nothing beats a snow blower for snow removal. Buckets are a huge PITA with a long driveway after the first pass.

Video was only to compare similar models across brands. I realize it does not compare to any machine that can have a front loader.

I guess it depends. Last year here in the Mid-Atlantic we had a monster snow storm and my snow blower couldn't cut it and I had to use the loader pick up and dump technique.
