...I'm not sure why having both available is a mistake?

Gotta remeber this is an enthusiest website. By my estimation well over half of compact owners never use their 3pt hitch. Since its become optional on the BX25 we sell maybe 25-30% of the machines with the $200 3pt kit. Kubota seems to be able to remove considerable cost using the 1/4 design... heck I'd almost go as far as say they should offer a model with a pos control, and another with no 3pt funcationalty at all. Why would you force people to pay more for somthing that brings little to no benifit to the average tractor owner.

Mr. Messick,

Slight thread drift, but since you sell both lines, does NH make a comparable model (attributes, size, capability, bang-for-buck) to the B3030HSDCC?

Thank you

So if you're in FL for example, you need to get the cold weather package to get position control?

No. They don't. In this size Kubota is the only company.

Fair point, never thought of that.

Not sure that I would call this an enthusiest site. We use these things. I use my 3ph all the time as does almost everyone I know that owns a CUT or SCUT...That's one of the main reasons we have them, beyond the FEL.

It is. I am sure many other dealers could reflect this, but the precieved needs of people on this website and those of the average tractor owner are very different. TBN is not at all reflective of the larger tractor buying public.

Mr. Messick,

Interesting premise, and no quibble with it. I know it might be hard to quantify, but how much of the type of buyer that you find on TBN do you think contributes to the overall purchase of the genre (genre being defined as let's say 80hp and down)?

Personally, I decided upon the premise of buying a tractor prior to finding this site. It (TBN) was however very influential in my selection.

Both your company and Mr. Wallace's (I do enjoy orange) have been frequent and very helpful purveyors. Another possible non-quantifiable factor: folks like you (and other dealers here) have a sort of gravitational effect that they are unable to find in their own locale.

Just random thoughts.

if your asking what percentage of my customers I think are aware of this website... I'd say maybe 5%. Its very few. My posting here has nothing to do with value to our business. Like everyone else, I am here because I enjoy the conversation about equipment and it helps round out my own knowledge.

It would be nice if more owners and dealers were aware of these types of sites. I only discovered it accidentally a couple of years ago and it has been a lot of help.

HTML:
The cab is the same, but supposedly it has some insulation panels that the 3030 doesn't.

Mr. Messick
Do you know if the sound insulation panels for the B3000 will be available for adding to the B3030 HSDC?
