Tiller took the plunge on a tiller

Well after alot of searching and looking and reading post on here and elsewhere i have finally decided to purchase a 7' king kutter TG84 tiller from rosseels on ebay.They have them for 1975.00 they are located in michigan i believe and shipping to rutledge alabama is 375.00 for anyone on here that might be close to the area.Bad thing is itll be shipped to my farm and im working 60 hour weeks so itll be a while before i will be able to get pics or give a review.But i do want to thank everyone on here that helped me out with questions and info ya'll are a great bunch and im proud to be part of this site.

I paid much more than that for my jd673 but it was well worth it for the job it does. It's a decision you won't regret.

FWIW, That shipping charge is about $200 too high. Enjoy that tiller. Spring is just around the corner. Ken Sweet

Considering that the unit is being shipped to a farm makes it a residental freight, so its a fair price.

I have mine listed for around that price with residental delivery and lift gate service to 48 continental states.

I know you will enjoy that unit and it's nice to be getting weather for using it.

All that we do at this facility is ship out of state every day and we have a lot higher discount than almost anyone else in the country. We can ship to a farm in his state for $175. Ken Sweet

I could have got his freight down to $140.00 to his farm without the lift gate. His freight was a little high, but is overall price was fair.

Keep up the go work Ken. I know you've been given a lot of great deals to members.

I'm sure you guys could ship from your state to his state cheaper than the other dealer's shipping charges. But lets be fair here, this dealer is is shipping from north of Detroit to Alabama. Maybe not the greatest price, but not terrible either.

Detroit to Mobile is one of the least expensive shipping lanes we have. I almost bet the the shipper/seller used Freightquote.com on Ebay as the broker. That shipping broker is the default shipper that Ebay uses. It is a rip off for the buyer. We put on our Ebay listings to DO NOT use Ebays Freightquote as ours is MUCH less expensive. I hope the dealer did not profit $200 on the shipping money. Heck I can ship that 800 lb tiller to a California residence with lift gate for under $300. Ken Sweet
