MF has announced the 1526. 25hp, 3 range hydro, and what looks like position control from what I can see in the picture.

I think that date on the press release is a typo. I think it was released Feb 15, 2011, not 2010. Here is the link for MF press releases, check the one second from the top of the list.

Is this a new model? I thought MF was phasing out the 1500s ?? How does this fit in the line up? Replacing the GC?

Hard to find good pictures of it. Wondering if it looks closer to the new 1600 series? Anybody know?

No, it looks like the 1500's. Same round headlights. Looks the same as a 1528 just a little smaller tires. Looks to be in the JD 2520/2720 size.
