I hope this is the last big snow of the season. The snow started coming in late fall and hasn't let up all winter. Enough is enough. It was fun in the beginning but now I can't wait to smell the freshly mown grass.. Anyone else feel this way??

Were getting a storm right now after a week or too of getting a break from it all. They say maybe 5" to 8" but I don't think they know for sure. Then another coming in Mon.
I love pushing snow and I'm sure I'll miss it when it's gone for the year . But ya ,I'm looking forward to green grass and harvesting my blue berries this summer.

I'm ready for it to warm up. I love to see green grass and not a snow covered ground. I always hate walking in it. (Not to mention the snow getting down in my boots and freezing my toes off).

It was in the 70's F here the other day. Now it's only 30 F out. We have really light snow coming down. But I don't think it's gonna amount to anything.

(Thank God)

It's supposed to get back into the 60's F on the 1st of March. (I hope)

I'd like to see one more really good snow (12" or more) for three reasons:
1) Give these new chains a good work out.
2) To see if this 4400 Deere is as good as I think it is.
3) To get the water table up so I don't have problems this year (we have a well).

As we tend to get major snows late in the season (in south central PA), I reckon it's still a possibility.

The older i get, the less I like winter. Waiting to here the frogs on a nice warm spring night. Bring on the blackflies and mosquito's. Just started snowing up here an hour ago. 8 to 12 of wet stuff on it's way.:(

I'm with Roy, I'd like to get a real good blizzard. Here in central Maryland, just above Baltimore we've had it pretty easy this year. Been really mild as far as snow goes. Give me one good storm like we had last year, also on a well, and I'd be happy.

Don't worry about the water table Roy, we will be getting rain Monday plus the melt down. Give that poor Deere a break............It will thank you..

Sometimes its not good to get what you wish for. Along with the heavy snow could be downed power lines which mean no heat if no wood burner and water lines freezing and on and on...

Not if you have a generator. Then all you need to worry about is having enough fuel to run it until actual power is restored.:)

4 inches of snow. Bah. wasn't even worth getting the tractor out. and plugged in heater on it last night and all thinking i was going to be in the deep stuff.

i am still wanting another 18 to 24 inches of snow again! something about the piles of snow bigger than the tractor. and letting the pup run around on them and wearing himself out really quick might have something to do with it as well.

a well march is in a couple days away. i guess no more snow *frowns* but the ugly ice and hail that is a coming till it stays warm enough out.

It aint over till it's over, we can get some of our worst snow in march the one in 93 gave 40+inches. I don't mind the snow I'm just sick of this below 0 crap. 25-30 with the sun shining is allmost perfect.

If this is Global Warming I would hate to see Global cooling. Coldest winter season for all the US I think. It snowed where people didn't know snow existed..

I enjoy snow removal of my own driveways. Both are rather short and easy.

What I am tired of is 14 hours in a truck cab doing commercial plowing.

The trailer courts are the worst. No off street parking in the one and NO place hardly to put the snow for either of the two accounts I plow at.

Less than 12 hours later, and may be doing it all over again.

I LOVE snow! (Not so much at this point in the winter season)

We got 10 - 12 inches of wet heavy snow today. I guess I'm as ready for spring as the next guy, but the snow isn't bothering me yet. A few of my neighbors have had enough though. Today I had to do a couple extra driveways....... neighbors snow equipment isn't standing up to the abuse. I made a couple extra bucks, got a six pack, some fresh baked cupcakes, and home made fruit salad. :licking:

I like it just cool enough to keep the insect population down.

What he said.
Bugs suck. There is just no way to sit outside and enjoy it when there are hundreds of bugs trying to suck you dry. Tractor time keeps the blood suckers away. Little criters don't like fumes. Good.
