I love that cab ! I wish I had spent the extra money . Oh well , maybe when I retire . My DK40SE has its 50hr service coming up soon . I have been puchasing my 14 Gallons of hyd oil on the installment plan . When I go to the farm store the last couple trips I would pick up 5 gallons . Not such a big one time cost ! lol

ya, i bought the filters...yeiks the hyd filter is spendy. i havnt got the fluid yet....little at a time here also.

Congrats on your new tractor!! I bought mine in July and have put 120 trouble free hours on it since. Previous tractor was a 1965 IH B414 and there is no comparing. You will most certainly enjoy the heat, air and power steering!! Enjoy.

Concerning cab window risks, watch out if you use a QA front snow plow. If the plow trips and you release it too fast the motion of the plow returning to the upright position can result in the top of the plow throwing stuff (snow, ice, rocks, etc..) back at the cab. This happen once to me with the CID Roll Top plow. It fling a big chunk of snow back at the windshield which got my attention! No damage just a good scare.

Also do not get in the habit of driving the tractor with the doors open for air flow or just plain laziness. I know an operator that got into that habit and then one day ripped a door off then he forgot to close the door when going around a tree.

i was warned by dealer about rear window.....he had a replacement one sitting on the sales floor. i plan on using remote chute for snowblower like i have now. ill not have any implement back there that can hit glass.
