The nxt elections are crucial to our existance. We've got to get that idiot out of the White House and flip some more seats in Congress. We need energy friendly people who will tell the EPA to GTFO and drill, drill, drill.

And as could be expected, since I filled both vehicles Friday at $3.389, today all the stations have signs that gasoline is $3.349 and $3.359. Not a big difference but I told my wife Friday that when I filled both vehicles, we could count on it coming down some.

It irks me to hear Obama say he doesn"t mind the price of gas, etc. going up because he knows he will never have to pay for another gallon of it. He is set for life now. I wish there was some way we could make him the next time, he and his wife Bombshell [joke] wants to jaunt off to Hawaii for a much needed vacation, when they pull Air Force one and Two up to the gas pumps, he pays out of pocket himself. Also for the limos and all other vehicles they have to accompany him. zman

Gas prices are mostly based on speculation and greed, rather than actual availability.

I find it totally incredulous that Libya controls the equivalent of 20% of the world oil market, such that taking them off the market with their current civil war would result in a 20% increase in American fuel prices.

On the flip side, buying tractors with diesel engines is probably the best bet in the long run as those engines can run on a wider variety of fuels than a gasoline one.

I was thinking of buying a 4x4 pick-up , but with the price of gas I am thinking twice and going to wait, maybe wont be able to . Do I really
need it or is it a want.
There is one thing that we can do about it , but it hurts, and alot of us aren't ready to sacrifice , that is getting rid of our big toys.
I have a 4 cyl small sedan Civic ,that I wanted to sell in the fall , but I guess I will keep it and save gas.
If every one of us do our part and consume less, we will make a difference.

Lower the demand = lower the prices.

no you buy your big toys if you can afford them, after their prices start to drop.high fuel prices means prices will bottom out on somethings.
