I measured a new L3240 HST, which I believe is same size as L3540, yesterday at a dealer.

It had a LA514 loader with QA and 66" bucket.

It was 14' from bucket lip to 3 pt arm, give or take an inch or 2.

It was about 72" wide on the rear R4's.

Looked pretty enormous to me, in reference to my B7510.

Thanks stub. Mine will have the la724 loader but that shouldn't be much longer. I think it will fit.:D

Funny.. I'm pricing out the same unit. I asked the dealer today the length from tip of loader to end of 3pt arms. 15 feet on the money he said.. but tractor currently doesn't have QA plate on it. SO to be safe.. add another 6 inches.

I have a price of 33.8 but that includes the kit for loader mounted hydro with the thumb control on loader joystick (to run FEL snowplow angle)

sounds like we are right there on price. Sales tax hurts though.

The last two tractors I have purchased from out of state to avoid the sales tax.
Sometimes a 600.00 delivery fee well out weighs the sales tax.

Our lovely state is quite aggressive about "use" tax they say you owe (sales tax for stuff bought out of state)

As I will be deducting a portion of this tractor due to wife's business that is attached to the house.. I would imagine they would come after me for sure. Think i'm stuck spending the 1700 in tax.

Don't get me started on what I pay in excise tax every year for my 1985 mercedes... it's more than I pay for my 2001 Tundra (they depreciate 5 years only... then you pay that amount every year forever)

I just delivered the stereo to be installed in the cab. La724 loader with OA is installed and they were doing a PDI and loading the tires. Looks like it could eat my B7800 for breakfast.:D

You are going to love it. Now the endless wait for the delievery..The 724 loader is much beefier and capable than the 524 so you made the right choice...Good luck witth the new machine and keep us posted...

Good to hear that as my new 3540 was delivered this PM.
Kind of sad to see the trusty B7800 go.

I think I'll get over it.:D
