How much is your Diesel cost?

In CT, 4.02 for on road ULSD at the local station yesterday. 3.90 for off road ULSD delivered two weeks ago.

Wow- your prices make me feel alittle better... I here it is going up another .50 cents before its all done with. That will limit me pulling the 5th wheel on long camping trips. I told the kids our camping with have to be 1 to 2 hour away places this year.

Around here its $3.99 per gallon. In the last week I was also in WV, NY, FL, NC, MI, MO, and WI and it was all about the same price.

As for pulling the big load I would not worry too much about it. Me and my neighbor were just talking about this yesterday. He has a trip planned to FL pulling 13,000# 5th wheel and I have 2 trips planned to TN pulling a 16,000# boat.

Say we each get 12 mpg in our diesel trucks. At $3 per gallon its $0.25 per mile. At $4 per gallon its $0.33 per mile. At $4.50 per gallon its $0.37 per mile.

So lets say its a 1000 mile trip. At $3 per gallon its $250 for fuel. At $4 per gallon its $333 for fuel. At $4.50 per gallon its $ $375 for fuel.

Yes it may be another $100 or so but if I was that tight on money I would not be going. For me thats dinner and a movie for my family or a fill up in my F-350. Not trying to say I have tons of money or like it but I am not going to let it effect my family's fun yet. I can cut back somewhere else if I really need that extra $100 for fuel.
