Are LS Owners "Dealer Bashers"?

If you look at the dealers list at the top of the page, those are the people that help support the website with $$$$. Face it, you get a little more leeway when you help out with the costs. Just how it is in life.

I wouldnt call being dishonest "a little leeway".
Pretending you have no skin in the game is being dishonest.
Telling people something about a tractor that isnt there is being dishonest.
But as you say money talks, dishonestly or not.

There was nothing dishonest with what was said!!! Look at the model that was mentioned and that was on the header. OPEN YOUR EYES!!!! Nothing was said about your model other then by you!!!! Then we all can relate to the header here!!!

All the colors here take their hits.

For example, Kubota get smacked repeatedly for being expensive, too light, smug dealers, 1/4 valving on smaller models, jerky 3 pt operation on some basic L models, and lots more.

Most every guy who talks about these perceived Kubota weakness gives his opinion freely. If you own an Orange tractor, you have to have thick skin sometimes because you know you chose one and you like it.

As the newest blue tractor kid on the block, so to speak, the LS guys sometimes seem a wee bit over sensitive, in my observation.

There's no need. It is a fine machine and it is attractively priced, at present. Trying to counter or defend against every remark seen as critical of one's favorite brand is a hopeless task. Just an observation and I mean no offense to anyone loyal to the new blue tractors.

Hey Art I quoted what you said - in your original inaccurate post.
If you can't take the hit, Don't post inaccurate stuff.

Case in point. When you were speaking of LS you said:
I don't own either currently so I went with no bias's on either brand. I was looking as a mechanic as to potential problems. Things I look for are standard features of other brands and there operation!

I don''t like levers and linkage that hang down below the tractors for limbs and other things to grab, the BX Kubota fan is quite well hidden but we hear of enough people with troubles there!
I don't like drag links below the front axle! That is normally the gauge as to how deep of ruts we can go though when it starts dragging and that might mean bending the drag link causing extra toe-out or worse yet to break it off.
Control positions were a flip of a coin as to who was best for the majority, labeling them well and how easy they were in relationship to the movement needed to operate.

Will both work, yes and they both will make some people feel they had died and gone to heaven for what they might doing. I just felt for what I looked at the LS is not up to par quite yet with the Kioti. Everyone has different levels and knowledge of mechanics and design and desire, I'm not faulting anyone for making their choice.

You sir - Made a bad choice posting that inaccurate info. You are a dealer that does not sell LS - You have skin in the game.
And to tell you the truth you are NOW being inaccurate about an LS owner!

I will repeat, look at the model they asked about, not yours!! There was statements about the Kioti as well as the LS tractors in what I said in that post.

Look at another poster on that thread and they will tell you the same that they saw on that model in that thread.

Is he a liar too?

There was nothing out of line by all the standards addressed here and nothing inaccurate.

People come here to learn both sides of the equipment they are purchasing as well as what they might have bought prior to finding this website for repairs as well as insight as far as to how they might be able to get more out of their equipment. It is one of the best sites on the internet with discussions about many subjects on tractors and a variety of equipment.

For many who are here they are proud of their purchases just like you. I to am proud of many of the machines that I represent so to a degree we are both the same as many of the others here.

I made no false statements, as I just stated what I'd seen about the two brands, that might not be a concern at all to others. I based what I said on what I've seen for problems on other tractors through the years of being in this industry. It doesn't mean that it will bring problems to every owner just that there is a chance of it depending on what their intentions are of use are.

I once again will say that I'm sorry that I offended you! I stand by what I've said.

All the backtracking in the world wont change that.
Let your words speak for themselves.

There is no back tracking on my part, you do not understand what I was saying.

Hey anyone seen that LS 5020C in person?
What kind of cost do you think it is?
I might upgrade to a cabin model.

At least I can get straight talk from my dealer. I'll continue buying from him.
SV Tractors, Corsicana, Texas, Authorized Dealer of Zetor and AgTrac Tractors
Anyone notice anything hanging from the bottom of that tractor? Me either.
Fit and finish is a good as any tractor out there IMO.

...yeah and if it was a J2030 it would be germane to the argument you seem to be having with Art (whom I agree may be blindly loyal to his brand a wee bit, but isn't everyone, yourself included), as that is the tractor the OP was asking about, ...I'm just saying,, but your little dispute is providing some entertaiining drama
