Kubota L4200gtsc,LA680 loader
I just bought Kubota l4200 with fel I want to know how to get the widest wheel base posible with the ag tires do you switch the front rims also or just the rear, and on the rear do you just move the rim out to the next tab gain about 1 1/2' per tire or do you switch the rims to the oposite side so that valve stem would be to the outside the tire that would give me the widest width looks like i would gain about 4' per tire. I want to do this before I get the tires filled I think it would be a bear after.I do not have an owners manual yet but I have one on order.
Thanks,

I am not familiar with how your rims are made, but this will be addressed in your manual, perhaps someone with a manual can scan or take a picture and post.

On some, you swap sides or just flip the dish while on some, swapping the tire and rim will be needed.

We had ours done prior to delivery, but if you are careful, you should be able to do this yourself though another person will make it much easier depending on your shop set up.

TripleR has it right...
This is the widths you can get, see the attached scans...

Do NOT reverse the front rims. You will gain no stability, but you will over stress the front end..

caution caution caution....if you have liquid filled tires....they can crush you.

my tires each have about 400 pounds of rimguard PLUS the rim and tire weight.

Agree, the OP said he was going to do this before he had his tires filled.

We use to swap tires all the time when I was farming, but I was a lot younger then and usually had someone helping. If it starts going over, get out of Dodge.

You can also use an engine hoist etc., but you really need to know what you are doing. Now, I just call a service truck.

I had to swap tires from side to side to increase the width. They can be rolled but be a little careful as they are not easy to lift up if they fall over (even if not filled).
