I have a button on my right control console its a green rocker switch looks to have a tractor on it an if you push it it turns green while it held but nothens seems to happen was wondering what it is and what or how im suppose to use it? Im new to new holland and it also the newest tractor ive ever operated.

The best advice I can give you it to invest in an operators manual. You can get them pretty reasonably on ebay or from your NH dealer. There are a lot of ways to damage your machine and possibly hurt yourself or others if you don't know what the control functions are and what the limitations of the tractor are.

Its your cruise control switch, I purchased my owners manual for my TC 40da for $35 well worth the money

As ND Teacher said, it is the cruise control switch. With the light on, you should be able to lift your foot off the HST pedal and the tractor will continue going the same speed. Pressing both brake pedals or switching the switch to Off will deenergize cruise. It is based on an electromagnet holding the HST pedal. If you set it and it does not hold, it means the electromagnet is out of adjustment or faulty.

I also agree with Jerry/MT. You need an operator's manual as a minimum. It will make a world of difference.
