Just finished my 56 NH rake restoration

Just pulled the NH 56 rake out of the shop today. I bought it from a neighbor that bought it new and he said it had never left the farm. I went through the old rake and painted it. I thought it turned out pretty good. It runs perfect. I like bringing old equipment back to life. It is probally better than some of the new macines out there.

Looking at the tongue it has covered some acres in its life.

Looks great. Those are what about early 60's vintage?? NH had the prettiest color combination ever -the early style red and yellow. The new red and yellow they have is yuck.

I think my neighbor said he bought it new in the late 60's. I think the last year they were made was 1967.
