who makes first choice finish mowers, just picked up a gm 30-60 that looks like new and was told it had less than ten hours on it and to my untrained eye I say it has less but the auctioneer was not given any paperwork for it.
so I am looking paperwork for it Thank's Don

To the best of my knowledge, it's a standalone brand. Not sure the state in which they're made. But - at the time I owned mine anyway - I was pretty sure it was an American made machine. I had the seven footer, and it was an outstanding mower for the price. Only reason I got rid of it was that I fell into a super deal on a flail mower that replaced both my finish mower and my rotary cutter

First Choice, Phoenix, etc are merely decals. It is an Italian made Sicma.

I have one and love it. Kioti uses it as their "oem" with their decals too.
Everything Attachments.com and Sweet Farm Equipment both sell them from the websites, if you want to price them.

I would try asking Sweet Farm where you could get a manual. They are very helpful.
I bought my fist choice sickle bar there. It has been a reliable unit.

We have sold the First Choice and Phoenix since they have been in business. Here is a link to your owners manual and parts manual. If you need anything, just let us know. Ken Sweet

It is an Italian made Sicma.
So did First Choice over in North Carolina ever actually make a mower? Or was my GM35-84 actually an import too? Had I kept it, mine would have been about 10-12 years old now.

Ken Sweet would know better than I, but lots of "names" are merely decals. Welcome to the tractor business. That said, Italian mowers just may be the world's finest.

Interesting you'd say that. I've got no reason to argue the point. But when I lived there, my yard was gravel.
