I've been a Jeep lover for many years and my latest Jeep build is an 08 Wrangler Unlimited (4 door). I love the off-road capabilities of a Wrangler and enjoy them the most when the weather allows for the top and doors to come off. I've done several mods to this one including a lift, tires and wheels, rock sliders, and exhaust to name a few. My latest mod is a Rock Hard stubby bumper and a Smittybilt XRC 8 comp winch with synthetic rope line. My neighbor, Keith came over to help with the install in exchange for some cold beer and great conversation. We mounted the winch and fog lamps on the bumper while clamped to the FEL on the Massey. I then nosed up to the Jeep with the tractor and lined the bumper up with the help of Keith's watchful eye. Once in place, we bolted it up, wired the winch, and commenced to drinking and telling lies. Here's the pics.

Nice job but that bucket on that tractor looks way too nice. You need to scrape it up a little.

As for the Jeep that thing is awesome. I always wanted one also but just could never justify it because they can not tow what I need them to do. Looks like lots of fun though.

I've only got 50 hrs on the little red tractor. I'm ready to get some of that new paint off the bucket. The only thing it has scooped up in the last 4 months is snow. I'm glad it's finally warming up some. I saw several classic cars out today and more motorcycles than I could count.

The tow rating on the 4 door Wrangler's is 3500 pounds (equipped w tow package and 3:73 gear ratio). The 2 doors are only 2000 pounds. The room is amazing in this thing compared to the previous TJ body style. The interior has come a long way also. It drives and feels more like a 1/2 ton pickup. I never thought I'd see power windows on a Wrangler either. That's probably the best upgrade on the latest bodystyle IMO. The list of mods have always been endless on these things. Probably the most cheapest vehicle to mod. They have always held amazing resale also. I think of em as street legal UTV's.

I'll pull you out free of charge in exchange for a fast ride in that Yellow Mopar in your profile pic.

That's a good looking Jeep. I ended up making my winch holder for my TJ that slides into a two inch reciever and the solenoid box will go under the main hoop. My wife has a 4 door Wrangler that we had a winch bumper made for it but she will not buy a winch!
