I talked to the dealer today and everyone seems to think it may be the throw out bearing squealing when I release the clutch. They said they would check into a few things and call me back. I'm thinking to check if it's covered under the warranty.

I know that the clutch disc is not but does anyone know if the throwout bearing should be covered?

Thanks,
Scott

It is part of the clutch component so it should not be covered by the warranty. Let me know how much they say it will cost to fix it.
I have a bad throwout bearing as well.

What a coincidence, I have the same squealing.

Last year I took it in under warranty and they 'fixed' it for free. Now it's back after maybe less than ten hours of use (at 60 hrs now) and I'm no longer under warranty and the !@#$ dealer is out of business.

How long will it work before it breaks?

I takled to the dealer again and they contacted the Mahindra rep. He is coming out to my house to check it out. He said if it is the trow out bearing it should be covered with such low miles on it.

What to you mean by "squealing when I release the clutch"?

Does it seueal only when letting the clutch out?
Does it continue to squeal with the pedal all the way out and just driving?
or By released do you mean disengaged? IE: clutch pedal pressed?

Reason I ask is because the throw out bearing should only be spinning when the pedal is pressed. With the clutch pedal all the way out, the throwout bearing shouldnt be spinning.

It is squealing upon engagment. When letting out on the clutch and when the gears begin to move the tractor is when the squeal is heard.
