Hi everyone :newhere: and I just bought a older single bottom cat0 moldboard plow. I was told it was a brinly 12" but can't find anything out about it. Is seems in really good shape but I was wondering what kind it is and if I break a point can I buy a replacement. The moldboard part # cast in is PXMDT24R and the mb backing plate(lack of correct name) is PX24R. Other than that there is no tags or stickers on it. It has been painted but can tell some rust marks underneath. Thany you for any help.

Do you have any pictures to help us identify it?

If it is a Brinly your in luck. If I remember correctly, Brinly sold their moldboard plow buisness to John Deere so you can make a Brinly plow "one piece at a time" through the JD parts counter.

Brinly has been out of business for many years. If you ever need parts, you should take your old piece with you to Tractor Supply. May interchange with another brand. Ken Sweet

The plow looks to be in very good shape. It even appears to have a new share. Hard to tell about the shin from the pic (or even if it has one) but the landslide looks new as well.

You'll be able to turn some soil with that for sure. Time to get it out and shine up that moldboard!

That plow will give you a lot of fun using it. I love watching plows work. I don't know what kind it is but I am fairly certin it is not a Brinly. I have seen hundreds of guys pulling Brinly plows behind 6 to 20 HP garden tractors and have never seen one that looks like yours. Yours looks like a Cat 1 in the pics but if it is a Cat 0 then you have too much tractor for it so I would keep the RPM's down and go slow in case you run into a big rock or root.
