Following on from this what tractor thread, I thought it only polite to post up some pictures of the little blue tractor we ended up with.
Up to about 26 hours on the clock now, probably 10 of that was slashing about 20 acres of rhodes grass to encourage new growth, then another 2 or 3 hours slashing between the stored haybales and around the bonfire head in the garbage paddock, then a couple of hours bringing 10 or 11 loads of sand up from the river for the forcing pens in the stockyards which had turned into a stagnant smelly mix of mud, water and various cow outputs....
Still really happy with the tractor, needs a bit more weight on the back axle, so filling the tyres and/or wheel weights are on the agenda, at the moment I'm using the 25+ year old heavy duty slasher (brush hog to you darn seppos
) but even it is a bit light.
