Saw an Ad in a magazine for Diesel Kleen, a fuel additive for diesel trucks. It's suppose to clean dirty injectors and act as a fuel lubricant. Has anybody used this product in their tractor?

I bought a quart from Tractor Supply . I use it to winterize my fuel and for all the benefits the bottle claims :p . It was recommended by a fellow at work who has a diesel truck . I imagine it works as well as any other additive .

I have, but only run a 5 gallon jug through it so far. Use it in my truck all the time, and it uses mechanical injection as well being a Ford IDI engine. Really perked the truck up after running a few tanks, and the tractor sat a lot before I bought it so probably needed a bit of fuel system care as well.

Have used it in tractors for years, I think it has been around as long as the diesel engine:D

I have used it and couldn't tell any difference. We go through quite a bit of fuel and no longer use any additives. I have spoken to a lot of truckers and farmers who don't use anything either.

I used it in my diesel VW, and use it now in my BMW diesel 335d. I plan on using it in the new LS and Yanmar. With low sulfur diesel I would run it or use a small amount of biodiesel in the mix, less then 5%. If you have EGR in a new tractor you should use it, the EGR value will cake without it. The tractor guys are going to have to come up to speed on diesel emission systems soon because there coming to the tractors. The new high pressure diesels are coming to the tractor industry and all the emission systems in high pressure diesel cars are coming to the tractor industry. The fuel pump you know and love is going away.

It has already come to the tractor industry, urea injection, cooled egr, particulate filters and the works.
They have had high pressure common rail for years.

Diesel Kleen (and it's cousin, Power Service) are nice fuel enhancements.

Sorta like whiskey, a little shot on a regular basis keeps things running smoother. :D

use it in my car ('06 Jetta TDI) and also in our tractor, but we've only put 9 hours of the 356 on it.

ULSD is pretty bad fuel regarding "lubricity"
Check out "wear scar"

I add to any diesel equipment I operate. The gray bottle is what I use, but the white bottle contains an anti-gelling additive as well.

edit...
I see Houston Scott has already touched on this.
