Another Kioti Dealer Gone

I am very surprised at that #. That averages out to about 4 per state and I don't think Ky has 4 and I am pretty sure the grain belt states wont average 4 per state. Maybe none in lots of states. Where are they concentrated? Ken Sweet

Interesting! I have a Kioti dealer about 2 mi from me, he is worthless. Went in 2 years ago to try to buy a new CK-35 from him and he spent 20 minutes telling me they were no good, tried to sell me a used Kubota he had. In 5 years he has never had more than 3 Kioti's on his lot and he is still a listed Kioti dealer. Thought I would give him another chance, called him to see if he wanted to do the 50 Hr, he said $650, its a lot of work.

Now their is a new Bobcat tractor dealer about 1 mile down the hiway from him, they have every model in stock and are doing well. Bought my filters for the 50 Hr from the Bobcat dealer, did a complete 50 Hr myself for about $120, took me 2 hr includind torqueing all bolts.

I bought my CK-35 2 years ago from a dealer 130 miles away and have been very pleased with it. Haven't needed any warranty work done, but I would pay the Bobcat dealer to fix a problem before I would go to the Kioti dealer 2 miles down the road.

Kioti makes a good tractor, but appears US management has their heads up there butts.

Have had a Kubota for 13 years and started looking for new one about 2 months ago only to learn that the local tractor shop had lost his 25 year old Kubota dealership overnight. This guy was the 7th biggest seller in the country.

He started importing Kubotas himself and Kubota Australia took him to court.

The lack of certainty in the local dealerships and the recent decision by Kubota Australia to hike up the price of parts by 20%,as well as their attitude to grey market Kubotas was a big factor in me looking at another brand.

Kioti make a high quality product selling 25% below what Kubota is asking.

So this morning I saw two RED Kioti's... at the Case dealership. When did that arrangement happen?

Are they McCormicks? McCormick (owned by Landhini) are selling some rebranded Kiotis. I think it happened early this year. The Case dealer in my area is also a Landhini/McCormick dealer.

I really don't know what Kioti is thinking here, after reading this thread... I still don't get it. I have seen where several times Wallace and Batch's were in the top 10 selling dealers in the country and Kioti is shutting them down!!?? I understand about them shutting down some of the tiny shops that don't move much iron. But these two dealers were excellent to work with, totally supportive of their customers and were top sellers in the country. Maybe Batch will go to the "white" Kioti like Wallace did and then we can at least still get parts. Batch is 2 hrs away from me and is.. was.. my closest dealer.

That has been the case for at least the last five years. It became apparent during the CK loader cracking fiasco and there has never really been any evidence that they changed corporate culture after that. They piss off both customers and dealers on a regular basis. The tractors are great but the corporate support sucks.
