175 hours on mine before I was made aware of these joints and I have been ridiculously **** about servicing this machine. I know of several people with these models with more hours than this that know nothing about the joints on the shaft. Thank you to the folks here for making me aware of these.

For all 2320 owners, attached is Solution Number: 88233 which updates the Operator's manual to identify the location of the drive shaft u-joint grease fittings.

thank you for this post. i checked my 2320 never new there was 2 grease fitting there ,i was able to grease the rear one but the front one is impossible to get at, any ideas how to reach it?

Have you tried this? Its a needle adapter that fits on the end of the grease gun.:thumbsup:

There is a hatch cover located on the right side just behind the plastic skirting. Removal of this hatch makes the joint very accessible. The big problem is I have to partially remove the floor to be able to remove the plastic skirt to be able to remove the access hatch!

How does the needle adapter work? Just push it onto the Zerk where the ball is and pump the grease gun?

Yes, the needle has a zerk at one end for the grease gun and like you mention, just push it onto the zerk and pump.:thumbsup:
