well, there is the "Insert image " icon in the PM window. havnt used it, but i assume that means you can paste an image there????

Yes, you can send image using the insert image. You just enter the URL. I just sent myself a picture.

I'm not sure whether this will do the trick, but go to "My Home" then click on "Edit Options." Scroll down and you will be able to choose your "Message Editor Interface." Try either the "Standard" or "Enhanced" interface if you are now using the "Basic" interface.
