Big Boy suspension seat

Has anyone installed the 'Big Boy' suspension seat on a Mahindra 3316 4WD? I have back troubles and I need a suspension seat. Right now Northern Tool is offering the 'Big Boy' seats on special. If not the 'Big Boy' seat, does anyone have other recommendations for a suspension seat for my Mahindra 3315.

I bought one for my 3316; there was no way to fit it. IIRC too wide with respect to arm rests and roll over protection. It was just too big to fit. Gave mine to my son in law for his tractor.

I bought one of the suspension seats sold at tractor supply and Atwoods typically just under $100. Had the same seat on the Dexta. I had to make a bracket to fit one on the 3316 but don't remember the details and I am in another state away from home right now; so can't look.

My dealer installed a Mahindra suspension seat from a 7520 on my 3215. Sure is nice to be able to set in the seat all day and not get tired. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: I've done a few other things to it also that make it a little nicer.

That looks like the same seat Mahindra sent to me for my 4110 back in 2004 - huge improvement over the stock seat. I had to leave the armrests off of mine and had to modify the mounting of the seat some but it does work well. I may be mistaken but I think that seat retailed for around $425 back in 2004.

I wish that was all that it was now days. I believe that it lists out now in excess of $600. But to be truthful, it is an absolutely great seat, I can set in it all day and not get tired, just like my 7520. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
