Plow Boy - Let The Season Begin!!!

Suddenly, winter ends up here at the 45th parallel. It's amazing how fast the snow disappears, bright sunshine and 60 degrees prompts the urge to begin again. New year.

The chickens are out, enjoying picking through the little garden. I'll roto-till that later.

I coughed up a couple huge chunks of ground ice, but overall, mostly the ground was soft and very workable. With an inch of rain promised for tomorrow and a 70 degree day promised as well, I can finally say it. Spring has come. Even after doing this for well over 5 decades, I am still geeked.

You trying to tell me that Mr Fall Plowing is plowing in the spring? :laughing:

60??? We reached the mid 80's last week! We also had record rainfall yesterday. :confused2:

We got in the mid 90's last week!! Summer is going to be rough, and it will be here to soon. Florida is too hot!

Yes, I "re-plow"" in spring, because I only have a middle buster, not a conventional turning plow. It is sooooooo easy. Just "fluffs" it??? If that makes sense. Remember also, I don't have a PTO tiller, so I follow up with my field cultivator.

Ready to plant. Now if the weather would just turn back to spring.
