Kubota probably was quieter, loader control smoother to operate, universal Q/A vs. the JD style coupler, etc.... At least that is what we found out when looking at 7040 Kubota vs the JD whatever it was. One thing to look for, how many minutes into the JD sales pitch, before the guy tells you that there have only been 5 Kubotas sent to the Nebraska Tractor Tests. Less than five?

That should do you very well. I bought the M9540 and a BH batwing a year and a half ago. It does great. I debated the M9540 vs. the M8540 but the price difference was minor at the time.

And wow! the time difference bushhogging 35 acres with this setup vs. a 6' cutter! Night and day! I can now get everything mowed in a couple of days instead of not getting done before I need to do it over again!

I don't have the cab though. That would be nice, LOL.

loved the cab, liked the looks better, turning radius is unreal, quiet, rear external cylinders, was lighter (i trailer it alot and can ballast as heavy as i need) better fuel economy from what i gathered. Great dealer (personal friend) in town vs some huge corp. owned business. What made me hesitate, it wasn't a john deere which is no real reason as long as it's not some off brand. However alot of my friends and father in law own kubota and have has alomst no problems whatsoever.

Bingo! No problems what so ever. Thousands of hours here on 3 kubota tractors. Never once had a machine go down on a job!

No, but sure would like to. I haven't broken anything yet, but we lost two side doors on our old Case CX 80.

Awesome Set-Up but I am not sure your Dodge is as excited about your purchase as you are:laughing:

The tractor by itself on my 32 foot goosneck is a joke. add the bushog its getting up there and with the old 450 JD things get more interesting. The Cummins rolls out with all of these 75 mph if you want. :). I run my airbags with 35psi-40psi when carrying some of these loads. Enjoy the eye candy!!

My gooseneck has a receiver on the rear. I could hook up the batwing behind it all! I wonder if maximum overall length limits apply if I have a SMV emblem on the back
