I wonder what the difference is between the 703 and the 703A, for starters I guess the the lack of under curl on the 703A. Or does the "A" have something to the quick attach/detach model?

Good question. I was curious too and did some googling to no avail. Mine is quick attach.
To be clear, there is a little bit of an optical illusion going on. It is stuck down in a pile of dirt a little bit. It doesnt turn all the way backwards, but it does go pretty far.

Nice work. Looks like the L4400 is doing a nice job. Just curious how you dug the french drain? FEL, BB? Up here we need to go down a lot deeper than that due to frost so it's a BH for us.
Can't help but comment on the nice weather. Up here it's still too wet to do much as all one will do is make ruts and/or get stuck.

In some spots I had to bench it down to get as deep as I wanted to, other spots I hand dug to depth. Over all though I was able to do a large portion of it with the FEL. I wish I had a BH, that would have been a lot easier, but in the end it only took 2 long days start to finish to do 210 feet of 1-3' deep by 12-18" wide french drain. Alone.
