I saw this truck on my jobsite down here in Louisiana and realized the whole truck was coated in line x (spray in bedliner). The owner told me he wrecked it and b/c he works in construction it was always getting scratched. Instead of repainting it, he brought it to a fellow and who does body work and bed liners and had him spray the whole truck, bumpers, toolbox and rims. I have to admit, it looks really good and he said it cleans up real easy. It costs about $2500, insurance paid in his case.

I recently bought a used 7x12 trailer that the previous owner Rhino Lined the entire thing. Thought it was ugly when I first saw it , now I kinda like it. Never have to worry about rust , and you can still paint it to freshen it up.

I wonder if it keeps it from showing up on police radar.........

That looks like an almost new GMC:eek:

Don't think I could do that, but it is unique...I guess.

Hope there is no resale expectation. Body parts wouldn't even be salvagable.

Looks good! Hopefully he did the underneath too.

intact paint prevents rust. keep the paint good and the rust will stay at bay. mind you.. that includes inside panesl, and under panels as well.

He'll be able to cook lunch on it in the summer. It should really soak up the sun.

He did, skid plates and frame. It is an 06 GMC 4x4. I asked him his intentions, as far as trade in and so on. He said he keeps his trucks until they are worn out, so he is not too concerned. He also sells them outright, no trading in.

I kind of like shiny paint, but thats just me. I have seen people doing that to the underside of their trucks, and it doesn't look to bad on the underside.
