Aluminum foil and rubberbands for really clean ends. Try it. Cheap too.

You might check your nearest Northern Tool & Equip store.

EDIT: I have found that my "female end" dust caps do not stay covered. When there is a bit of oil in the plug (and there always is) the covers pop right out. If you want a permanent solution, go to Surplus Center or some other cheap source and buy male 3/8" pioneer connectors. Put a plug in them and then just plug them in instead of the plastic covers. You can paint the connectors or put colored ID tape around the lines to make matching easy also.

was going to say same thing. just buy the female or male ends you need. with an end cap. if you want to keep ends handy on tracotr perhaps....

female or male end
washer
short wire wrapped around threads
washer
end cap, end plug.

washers are to make sure wire stays in place.

tie other end of wire to individual hoses or some other common spot on tractor.

============
some cans of different color spray paint. to hit rear tractor ends and ""hoses"" and then do same on implement hoses.

being able to see the color on hoses vs ends might make things much easier to grab and connect. vs fiddling around with the ends of cables to find color you need.

for 2$ I bought a 35 count of baggies from walmart, and a ball of rubber bands and just keep them in the shop now. the baggies come in handy when bagging small parts after disassembly.. carb work.. screws.. etc.
