I was going to go look at a woods RB700 that the guy wanted $300 for. I posted an ID question here http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/203820-rear-blade-id-please.html
I also am parting out another tractor so I have had a ton of calls on it. One of the guys that came out was all set to buy $400 worth of parts when we were just BSing and he said he had a really heavy blade and wanted to know if I'd be interested in a trade.
Well long story short, I traded him, AND he threw in $20 cause I delivered the parts. (I was going to look at the blade anyway, so I just took the parts with me).
So...for $380, I got me a KK HD-RB-84:thumbsup:
According to everythingattachments King Kutter Heavy Duty Rear Blades
It weighs 700lbs:thumbsup: But they also say it is cat 1, but this blade had cat II lowers on 32" spacing. So I had to change pins and put them on the inside. I also bolted on a bracket to move the TL mount a little closer to the tractor. That saves me from haveing to buy a longer TL.
I also think I am going to add two more notches to the tilt adjustment. Because the tilt setting it has now is ALOT.
So what do you guys think??? Fair deal @ $380??? Better than the woods RB700???? This one was painted red because he was an international guy, but nothing is bent/broken and there is very little rust. And I doubt my little tractor will hurt this beast:laughing:
